Error Coins of the United Kingdom
by Bill Snyder

George IIII Half Crown, Obverse Brockage
One of the great joys of collecting is to be able to share your experiences and discoveries with a like-minded collector.
I was fortunate to have as mentor a very knowledgable and enthusiastic collector of mis-struck English coins. (He was interested in the Silver milled pieces dating to 1820, while I was interested in the Copper pieces). We shared experiences, traded, and watched out for coins in the other's field of interest. This, I think, is what collecting is all about!
Along the way, I was able to acquire many English, Scottish, and Irish error coins. I am posting some of the more interesting here.
